SUMMARY:
The Graphic Artist will utilize computer graphics equipment and software to conceive design lay-outs, coordinates illustrations, and creative artwork to update and maintain visual and audio products for use in C-5 ATS training. This position is also responsible for the production of training materials using program guidelines and for the maintenance of training programs and courseware using the instructional system development (ISD) process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
• Maintains courseware documentation and eLearning modules.
• Develops interpretive themes that convey both ideas and information.
• Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight and similar visual impressions.
• Provides guidance on graphic technology.
• Work closely with external and internal company employees to create cost effective graphic designs through available mediums for use both internally and externally.
• Provide computer graphic services and support for web design.
• Work in collaboration with subject matter experts and project managers to analyze learning objectives.
• Complete course design and review process using established design and editing guidelines to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of training products.
• Create series of eLearning modules to support client initiatives by applying appropriate instructional design methods.
• Create video and audio products.
• Create storyboards and/or instructional outlines to design and develop courses.
• Create and manage project timelines and lead client review calls.
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent job experience with a minimum of 2 years as an Instructional Designer or Graphic Designer. Some experience shooting short videos, and experience with post-production software such as Adobe Premier. Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word. Experience with Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) and/or Air Force aircraft technical documentation knowledge is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional literature. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, and colleagues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Solid technology skills are required, including a deep understanding of multiple database technologies, enterprise systems integration, and software evaluation techniques. The ability to translate differing and possibly conflicting customer needs and preferences into design requirements is essential as well as the ability to reverse engineer business processes and tools. The ability to analyze, identify and solve a variety of problems is critical. Experienced and proficient in the use of standard Personal Computer productivity software tools including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, project management, and databases.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CITIZENSHIP:
U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Clearance.
